*INDEPENDENT ARTIST SPOTLIGHT* WAUN......"PHASE II"

The independent music scene is buzzing in the state! Everyone has something to say….but what are you really saying? Is anybody even listening? Well I am and I came across Phase II a cd from an artist name Waun!!! When I first heard Waun’s music his voice intrigued me he seemed to be speaking from the heart with every word. I could hear true emotion in every line! My curiosity got the best of me and I decided to find out who is Waun…..

So in all my years I have never heard of Elaine, Arkansas a small town in Phillips County of about 865 people. This small city was last known for its race riots in 1919. Well it looks like Bobby Craft a*k*a Waun is about to put his city on the map again. Not only for his music but also because it has been confirmed by a very reliable source that Bobby had ties to Craig Petties (BMF) and Cartels in Mexico…… this is all the information I am at liberty to release at this time….. which brings me back to the music.

Waun brings a direct message from the streets and the heart of every hustla in every city! If you looking for an artist to share a story with you then “Phase II” has some thought provoking lyrics for you. The introduction sets the tone for the entire album. It made me think. Wow! Did coming from a place like Elaine give Waun this much drive? This much ambition to succeed? Well from the sound of the album I would have to say that it has a lot to do with Waun’s determination to be successful. His album tells a truth to the streets about what you think is going on in the streets. Its not all about the “BLING” every rhyme has a reason. When I listened to the album I felt like I was listening to his life story.

To all my music lovers and my music junkies that love to follow new artist in the underground all I have to say is “Phase II”.
