Magic Johnson wants to take a swing at owning a baseball team, not any old team but he wants part of the LA Chargers. If Magic along with Guggenheim Partners/Guggenheim Baseball Management Group can make this deal happen he will make history, he will be the first black man to have ownership in a professional baseball team. Magic will be the teams president and also have a part in recruiting for the Chargers. The deal may not be as easy as it sounds because there's also another party who wants the Chargers as well and it's none other than billionaire Mark Cuban owner of the Dallas Mavericks. Well the sale will begin next week, may the highest bidder win!
